About Lorraine Rimmelin
Lorraine was born and raised in New York City but now she shares her time between her two dream homes. Mostly painting on the open bay of Long Island’s south shore here she creates her nature inspired sea and skyscapes. Living on the water’s edge is what motivated her to pursue a longtime desire to paint watercolors. Her studio has a awe inspiring view that any artist would find captivating. When she heads north to her mountain top home in Vermont she loves painting plein air in the woods. There her inspiration comes from the dramatic lighting found inside the forest.
